INCREASE IN RATES
Part Restoration of Cut By Telegraph—Press Association. DUNEDIN, May 2. The City Council at a special meeting to-night decided to increase the hospital and drainage rates by a penny in the pound each, bringing the total to 4/7. It was also decided to restore 2J per cent of the 10 per cent cut in wages aud xalnriea.
