H.B. CENTRE'S TOURNEY. NAPIER AND WAIRERE IN FINAL. The annual Easter tournament of the Hawke's Bay Bowling Centre was continued yesterday in glorious weather on the Napier Club’s green. There were a large numbers of interested spectators present, they being given a splendid exhibition of bowling m the •ection play. In the semi-finals the games were not of such a high standard. The final game will be played on the Napier green next Saturday afternoon, eoinmencing at 2 o'clock. Finalists jrc: T. Stocker, T. C. Pailot, A. Bryan, K. V. Thomas (s), (Wairere), and H. E. Elmes, J. D. Campbell, C. A. Plested, A. W. S. Pirie (s) (Napier). Given fine weather, the game should provide a good exhibition of bowling as both teams have been playing excellent bowls throughout the tournament. The Wellington Bowling Centre’s Easter rinks tournament was concluded to-day. The Petone Club rink—Gates, Paul, Lowry, Solbery (s)—defeated Lyall Bay—Donald, Gorman, Raven, Brackenridge (s)—23 to 14 in the final.
