There was little between Good Hunting and Ebeum at the close of half a mile in 54secs After breakfast an Acre—Moutoa Ivanova gelding made the pace for Dombey, and the latter was kept busy to keep on terms with them. The first two furlongs took 27 2-5, and the five 1.6. Variant was kept back to Catalogue in the early stages of a fivefurlongs gallop, but both were going strongly at the finish to run the distance in 1.5. Silver Ring ran over a mile, the first furlong taking 15secs.. two 27 4-s*ecs., three 41secs., five 1.7 2-5. and the full distance 1.47 2-5. The last three furlongs were covered in IGsec*.
