——- • • - — Question of Liability LEGAL OPINION TO BE SOUGHT At a conference of representatives of the contributing bodies the scheme for the diversion of the Tutaekuri river, the question of the liability for compensation that the Rivers Board be called upon to meet, and also of any extra cost that might be involved in the scheme came up. Mr. T. M. Geddis, chairman, to-day informed the Napier Harbour Board that it was decided to have legal opinion obtained in regard to both matters, and this was expected to be available when the next meeting of representatives took place.
