PLANE OVERDUE
FLYING TO NELSON SOME ANXIETY FELT Left Wellington at 8.30 a.m. TWO AUCKLANDERS ABOARD By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 17. Anxiety is felt for the Auckland Moth 'plane ZKAAL, with red body and silver wings, piloted by Mr. E. B. Boucher, with Hr. L, W. Swan as a passenger, which left Rongotai at 8.30 this morning for Nelson. At midday the machine had not arrived at its destination. It is understood the trip was being made for business purposes. The ’plane arrived from Auckland last night. Mr. Boucher is president of the Auckland Aero Club and one of the directors of the re- . cently formed Dominion Airways. Mr. Swan is secretary of the Auckland Aero Club. A Blenheim message says that telephonic enquiries from all parts of the sounds failed to secure any news of the aeroplane. No settler has even sighted the machine. One machine has been despatched from Rongotai, one from Blenheim and two from Christchurch to search.
