BIGGER ENTRIES NEEDED
Eggs at the Autumn Show “While the entries of eggs at the ■how in all classes are of a good quality it is very disappointing to see such small entries for such a large district as Hawke’s Bay,” said Mr Walter G. King, who judged the egg section at the show. “If people only realised what a widespread and eheap advertisement wa.4 gained through the medium of agricultural shows and thence through the Press, I feel sure we would create more, interest and consequently more entries. “Now that we have to look to export to a large extent the export etasi gixes a good comparison for the requirements of overseas markets, and 1 sincerely hope in the interests of poultry keepers in general that future shows will be more largely patronised.”
