Mr. and Mrs. Thornley Sherratt, of Gisborne, are staying at Raupare with Mr. and Mrs, F. Donnelly. Mrs. Gambrill, of Palmerston North, who has been staying with Mrs. Pitcaithly in Hastings for the croquet tournament, left yesterday for Wanganui, where she will enter for the N.Z. Gold Medal Competitions. Mrs. Gambrill won the championship singles at the recent Hawke’s Bay Croquet Association tournament and, with Mrs. Pitcaitbly, was a runner-up for the championship doubles. * * • News has been received that the marriage took place in London on March 7th of Dr, E. K. McLean, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. Duncan McLean, of Waipawa, to Miss A. W. Brewer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 11. D. W.
