HIGH SCHOOL JUBILEE

NAPIER GIRLS’ FUNCTION EASTER ARRANGEMENTS The staff of the Napier Girls’ High School and members of the Ex-Girls’ Association are now busy in preparing arrangements for the school jubilee, which is to take place at Easter. The lady principal, Miss D. M. Arthur, made reference to the jubilee in her monthly report, which was adopt ed by the Napier Secondary Education Board last evening. "It is hoped that board members will be able to be present at the first function on Saturday morning, March 31,” she stated, “further notice of which will be sent to them. On Monday, April 2, visitors, parents, friends and all interested will be admitted on payment of a small charge, which will go to the funds. At the Sunday afternoon service, the Rev, J. A. Asher has very kindly consented to preach the sermon, and the Verv Rev. Dean Broeklehurst and the Rev. F. L. Frost are assisting with the service. I greatly appreciate the fact that the gentlemen referred to are giving their time and service on a day which is perhaps the busiest of the church year. ’ ’ The board decided last evening to instal some scats in the school grounds and to have the grounds cleaned up where necessary.
