FIRE IN WAIROA

Loss of Drapery Stock (By Telegraph Press Association.) WAIROA. March 13. At 1 o’clock this morning fire was discovered at Mrs Kent’s drapery warehouse. 'Hie brigade effected a good save, and the damage to the building was not serious, but the loss in stock is heavy, due to water and smoke. The cause of the tire is attributed to an electric iron being left on, as this was discovered on an inspection of the building later. The building is owned by Mr J. P. Moore, but the insurance on it and on the stock is not available
