Large Increase This Season £823,434 AGAINST £267,222. By Telegraph—Press Association. WANGANUI, March 12. Realisations from wool sold in Wanganui at the two sales of the current season amounted to £823,434 against a total of £267,222 obtained at the corresponding sales last season. This year 53,619 bales were disposed of against 43,325 in January and February, 1933. The last auction here was in February 23, when 28,623 bales were offered and 22,469 sold. The total proceeds amounted to £277,877, the average price per bale being £l2 7/- and the average price per pound 8.7 d.
