ANSWER TO CORRESPONDENT.

"Inquirer’’! To become a member of the New Relief Association a relief worker must be nominated, the nomination being proposed and seconded by two financial members of the association before being submitted to the general meeting. Acting under the constitution the general meeting does not accept the nomination of any person known to be a member of the Unemployed Workers’ Movement or of any party accepting the tenets of Communism. The executive exercises no authority regarding the acceptance or rejection of nominations, the decision resting entirely with the general meeting. This information is supplied by two responsible officers of the New Relief Association.
