GHOST ’PLANE
Nearly Caught by Danes COPENHAGEN, Feb. 16. A ghost ’plane, one of the many nhdi have been flying over Norway, Sweden and Finland for two months, was nearly caught the other day. These | mysterious 'planes have flown at night over a set route. It was reported that one had been forced to land on a plateau on the top of Mount Fagerfield. Telescopes revealed two men shovelling snow and i clearing a runway. The iocal sheriff
and military officials departed to investigate .in the darkness, hut a blinding snowstorm prevented them from reaching the plateau before the 'plane’s departure. They found tire frozen tracks of heavy aeroplane skis and two men’s footprints. The Soviet Uns convinced the authorities that the ’planes are not Russian, and it is now suggested that Japanese flyers are operating from a vessel repeatedly sighted off (lie northern coasts.
