Bihar Survivors Terrified

SUBTERRANEAN RUMBLINGS By Telegraph—Press Assn—Copyright CALCUTTA, Feb. 22. Earthquakes of varying intensity, with heavy subterranean rumblings and eruptions of sand and water from fissures, accompanied by cyclonic hailstorms, are terrifying survivors in the stricken areas of Bihar. Three severe tremors were recorded yesterday al; Bonnili, in the Madras Presidency, and Dhubri, Northern Bengal. Relief workers in Bihar face an outbreak of the plague which already has caused ten deaths in the Bettia and Mahnar districts.
