(By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 23. The Wellington-Canterbury cricket match commenced at Lancaster Park in perfect conditions. Wellington won the toss and after half an hour’s play had scored 25 without loss. At the lunch interval Wellington had three wickets down for 148. Dustin and Tindill put on 120 for first wicket.
