MANY CHANGING HUES
According to Altitude RUSSIAN OBSERVATIONS (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received 13, 10 45 a.m,) MOSCOW, Feb. 12. The records of the Soviet balloon victims disclose remarkable changes of colour in the sky at different altitudes. At 5.28 miles it was marine blue, at 6.83 dark blue, at 8.08 dark violet, at 11.81 violet marine, at 12.05 dark violet grey, at 13.67 black grey. This bears out Professor Pickard’s observations.
