Following is the Government Meteorologist's summary and forecast foi the Central, East, and North-east districts from the 24 hours from 9 o ’clock to-day:— Summary: Apart from a slight rise of pressure in the north and a fall to the east, there has been little change in the general situation. A shallow depression is approaching from the Tasman Sea. Forecast: Light, to fresh northeasterly winds. Weather dull, sultry and misty. Further rain probable, with heavy falls in places. Seas rather rough, with a north-aasterly swell. HIGH TW3. (At Glasgow Wharf). To-day—3.lB a.m., 3.40 p.m. To-morrow—4.2s a.m., 4.47 p.m. THE SUN.
