REGIMENTAL DANCE

FUNCTION AT WAIPUKURAU. ENJOYABLE EVENING SPENT. The many guests who attended the military dance in Waipukurau in the Municipal Theatre on Friday, spout u thoroughly enjoyable evening. The red and blue uniforms worn by the officers, intermingling with the many dainty frocks worn, lent a gay note of colour. A great reception was given to Johnny Bed’s Orchestra, all the latest lively music being played. Excellent arrangements had been made for the supper, the dainty fare being supplied by Miss Limbriek, and the long tables were decorated with bowls of many coloured roses.
