FIRST-AID CLASSES
Hastings Examinations HUNDRED PER CENT SUCCESS The results of the recent examinations conducted in Hastings under the auspices of the St. John Ambulance Association are as given below. Dr. E. Y. Comrie was the examiner, and the secretary of tho association’s headquarters. Mr C. Meachen, says in a letter announcing the results: “The standard of the examination was very high, and candidates one and all should be congratulated on qualifying. Hastings sub-centre is tho secorid this year which has held an examination in which all qualified, which speaks very well for the tuition and general instruction received.” Tho following are the results:— Medallions: Messrs J. Maisey and G. Kay. Second year candidates: Misses M. Baddiley, 1). Manning, J. Harris, B. Lowe, J. Barden, Mrs H. Barden, Messrs E. Neilson, B. Anderson, H. Barden, 11. Price, and J. Wood. First year candidates: Misse.s M. Rushton, C. McPhee, L. Ritchie, N. Baddiley, R. Kirkwood, A. Monk, D. Ballot, M. Summers, E. Compton, Snadden, Mrs S. Storer, Mrs T. Stewart, Messrs G. W. Stringer, M. Morrison, 1. Snadden, and E. Sherry.
