Napier and Esk Teams THIS MORNING’S PLAY A holiday cricket match between Napier and Esk was commenced at Nelson Park, Napier, this morning. Esk batted first and made 56, the only double-figure scorers being M. Smith 24, D. McKay 12, and Fletcher 10. Bowling for Napier Hawthorne took nine wickets for 25 runs, and Seed one for 14. When play stopped for the luncheon adjournment Napier had scored 12 without loss of a wicket.
