The Napier Cliamber of Commerce has been advised that workers’ bus tickets on the Napier-Hastings run are not interchangeable with the trains service running between the two towns. Representations were made to the Railways Department that for various reasons the Government might sco fit to allow this concession, hut it has been pointed out that train tickets on this route are much cheaper than those used on the buses. Negotiations are now in process to discover whether the department will permit concession ticket holders who ordinarily use the buses to make use of the trains when occasion demands.
