Cotton and Silk Industries MANUFACTURERS CONFER (British Official Wireless.) (Received 21, 12.30 p.m.) RUGBY, Dec. 20. The negotiating committee of the British cotton and artificial silk industries tnet the Japanese cotton industries representatives in London to-day, and the following resolutions were passed:— (1) The British and Japanese delegations are of the opinion that the interests of both countries and the industries of both would he best served by commencing official industrial negotiations as soon as possible. (2) The British delegation is of the opinion that the cotton and artificial silk industries are now so intricately involved each in the fortunes of the other that the contemplated negotiations must embrace artificial silk yarns and fabrics.
