NAPIER VERSUS ESK COMPETITION GAMES POSTPONED A friendly cricket match is to be played at Nelson Park, Napier, on Saturday afternoon between a Napier eleven chosen by Mr A. Swailes and a team representing the Esk Sub-As-sociation Play will start at 10.45o’clock in the morning and will continue until about 5 o’clock in the afternoon The following will represent. Napier:—W. Hughes (captain), A. Boggs, H. Hawthorne, Wilson, A. Swailes S. Triggs, Jeffery, A. Forsyth, L. G. Fifield, H. Seed and another to be chosen, Players are requested to be at the wicket at 10.30 o’clock. Club cricket in Napier will not be played for the next three Saturdays., The senior and junior grade series commenced last Saturday will be completed on January 13.
