“HEADS ARE ROLLING!”

German Mass Executions SOME DOUBT NAZI WISDOM BERLIN, November 30. “Heads are rolling.” yelled the newsboys, rapidly selling newspapers describing the beheading of six young Communists by a top hatted, frockcoated executioner, for shooting two Nazis. The mass execution is widely discussed, many approving General Goering’s refusal of a reprieve for “subhumans” guilty of the murder of Brown Shirts. Others doubt his wisdom and fear that Nazi ruthlessness will decree a similar fate for 10 Communists who were sentenced to death for the murder .if the Nazi, Dcsttu, for which three have already been beheaded, although tho judge pointed out that eight have been convicted who were uot involved in the actual shooting. The Hamburg Court, trying 23 Communist- who slightly wounded a Nazi, imposed sentences ranging from 15 to £> years on seven and the remainder to smaller terms.
