OBITUARY

The death of Mrs Elizabeth Lusk, wife of Mr H. B. Lusk, of Napier, occurred last night, following a severe illness. The late Mrs Lusk, who was a daughter of the late Mr W. L. Reoa, who for many year s represented the East Coast district in Parliament, was o f a most kindly disposition. She was a very talented lady, being the author of a number of works of considerable merit. To her husband and family the deep sympathy of a wide section of the community will be extended.

The death has occurred in the Rotherham Hospital, Christchurch, following the birth of a son two days ago, of Mrs. Alf Brustad, formerly Miss Aroha Clifford. Prior to her marriage she was a flying enthusiast, and was New Zealand’s first woman pilot. Her husband was a former guide at Mt. Cook.,

The death is announced in a Press Association message from Auckland of Mr. Arthur Benjamin Roberton, aged 61, city merchant and shipping agent and prominent Anglican.

The death occurred in Wellington last of Mrs. Dorothy Fuller, wife of Mr. Walter Fuller, Oriental Bay. and sirter-in-law of Sir Benjamin and Mr. JuJu Fuller. Sydney.
