MYSTERY STORY EVENING. Last evening the monthly meeting <if (ho Spilt Ink Club was held at Mrs Curlett’s home, Lyndon road, a most interesting time being spent. Tho feature of the evening was the reading aloud by Mrs Drummond, the organiser, of several short stories which had been written by the members. The beginning of the story, a mystery, had been previously suggested and each member worked out the rest of the story in various ways, the result being most entertaining. For the next meeting each member is to write something very brief (2.50 words) each in his own style. The meeting will bo held on December 8 at, Mrs Burnell’s home, 703 Pepper street.
