SEAMAN’S BODY FOUND

Evidently from Barque Parma NO FEAR FOR SHIP’S SAFETY (By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright.) (Received 3, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, Nov. 2. The barque Parma, which sailed for Australia on October 4 has not been spoken since the body of a seaman wearing a Parma lifebelt was washed ashore at Deauville on October 28. Apparently the body had been in the water for about 20 days. The Parma carried two passengers— Commander Bircham. who is seeking sailing data for the Admiralty, accompanied by his wife. Agents do not fear for the safety of the Parma. They think the seaman may have been washed overboard and not rescued owing to rough seas.
