HAWKE’S BAY SHOW

KENNEL CLUB SECTION. The Kennel Club section of the Hawbe’s Bay A. and P. Society will this year be a leading feature at the Show, entries totalling 626, which is a record. The public will have the privilege of seeing some of the Dominion’s best dogs. Entries have been received iroin as far as North Auckland, New Plymouth, Wanganui, Wellington and Christchurch. A section that will command keen attention is the number of imported dogs, many of which have proved themselves prize-winners before coining to New Zealand. Much improvement has been done to the dog pavilion for the comfort of housing the dogs during the Show. The public have not been left out when studying these improvements, as the paths round the benches are all tar scaled. This in itself is a great improvement, and will bo much appreciated by those attending this section. The society has gone to considerable expense in providing good judges and exhibitors have appreciated this fact by the record number of entries. Judging will commence at 9.15 a.in. on Wednesday, 18th inst., and the spacious judging rings should allow all interested a view of the exhibits. On Thursday, the 19th inst., at 1.30 p.m., a grand parade of all dog exhibits will be held. This parade will be the finest ever put on by the 11.8. A. and P. Society.
