AT THE RACES

PERSONALITIES AND FROCKS. THE HUNT CLUB MEETING. The sun shone brightly and springgreen willows beautified the Hastings race course for the postponed Hunt Club race meeting on Saturday, and the people who sat in the stands or strolled round to see the horses obviously enjoyed their day. Between the races the Hastings Citizens’ Band played lively selections, which added to the interest of the occasion, and many folk had lunch or tea in their ears, making up little parties with friends. The events were well worth watching and the winners were enthusiastically clapped. Among those seen were the Master (Mr G. D.
