RELIEF WORKERS
NEW HASTINGS ASSOCIATION. MUCH GOOD WORK DONE. Although the above association has been in active operation less than three weeks, much good work has been done and the membership steadily increases. The permanent office is located in Eastbourne street, almost opposite Ross, Dysart and McLean’s garage. Committees have been set up and have arrangements well in hand for the social activities of the association, as well as assisting the members in other directions. It is the intention of the executive to make all meetings as interesting and as helpful as possible, but the first, concern of the executive is to consolidate tho association and place it on a thoroughly sound working basis. The next meeting will be held this evening in the Favourite Hall, Warren Street, at 7.30, preceded by the executive meeting at 6.30 and all tho committees at 7.
