DISTRICT DEMON STR AT lON. MASTERTON, April 18. At the demonstration of the United District Fire Brigades, held at Carterton, the Leipst Cup, for the highest aggregate points, was won by Carterton, and the Jenkins Memorial Shield, for the four-men motor event by Petone. Further results are as follow:— Three men motor, disabled: Carterton 1, Petone 2, Carterton 3. Four-men motor: Petone 1. Carterton and Dannevirke (equal) 2, Hastings 3. Five-men hose and standpipe: Carterton 1, Dannevirke 2, Petone 3. Three-men consolation: Eketahuna 1, Lower Hutt 2, Waipukurau 3.
