WAIPAWA

(Own Correspondent.) Quite a number of Waipawa residents visited Auckland over the Easter week-end. Among them were Mr and Mrs Guthrie, who motored there and back again and had a very enjoyable trip. A party of six young men left on Thursday night by car, driven by Mr lan Harvey, and made a tour of Tanpo, Rotorua, Auckland, and the Waitomo caves, returning to Waipawa on Monday night after a most interesting and enjoyable trip. The Bible classes of St John’s Presbyterian Church were well represented at the Bible class camps held in Hawke’s Bay during Easter, the bora attending the young men’s camp at Hatuma, and the girls, in the charge of Miss Patterson, M.A., attended the young women’s camp at Havelock North.
