A sitting of the Hawke’s Bay Adjustment Court will be held in the Supreme Courthouse, Napier, on Wednesday, May 10, commencing at 10 a.m. The Clive League Football Club will hold a dance in the Olive Hall to-mor-row evening. Buses will return to Hastings and Napier after the dance. The United States Senate yesterday directed its judiciary committee to investigate the delay by the Department of Justice in prosecuting the officials of the Harriman National Bank for alleged violation of the banking laws.— Press Assn, cable.
