"SaM e 99 I Here is a Hawke’s Bay poultrykeeper’e actual experience. A plain statement of facts, his letter clearly shows that Kars wood Poultry Spice (containing ground insects) pays wonderful dividends in winter eggs to those who use it:— “Eggs, no doubt, in England are plentiful at this time of the year, but over here it is when they are beginning to get scarce, and, of course, expensive to‘buy. However, I am managing a small flock of fowls which would be about two or three hundred, and the cold decreases the egg-production greatly. Not having used your Karswood Poultry Spice before, 1 thought I would try same, and the effects' astonished me. Within a fortnight from the time of feeding the fowls with Karswood, the egg-production increased to somewhat 500 per cent. more.—N.A.H.” Original letter on file tor inspection. Karswood Poultry Spice is obtainable from all wholesalers and stores at the following standard retail prices: ilb. packet, firice 1/2; Uh. packet, price 2/3; 71b. tin, price 14/-; 281 b. tin, price 50/-. KARSWOOD ■ POULTRY SPICE ■ Increases egg-production without forcing, because it contains ground insects, hut no cayenne pepper, etc.
Indian Reforms. It is authoritatively stated in London that the various periods mentioned for the duration of the select committee on Indian reforms are wholly speculative. The duration is completely in the hands of the committee itself, save that all proceedings must be over before the prorogation of the Parliamentary session. The published suggestion that the committee might sit until Christmas is thus entirely erroneous.
