During the discussion on the municipal elections at the meeting of tha Hastings branch of the Labour Party last month it was decided that no official action be taken in support of any candidate for the Hastings Mayoralty, but members of the branch will use tlieir own discretion with regard to membership of committees m connection with the Mayoral contest and support of individual candidates. A» previously announced the Labour Party has nominated four of its members, Messrs. Barley, Jone-, Lowe and Rigg, lor scats on the Hastings Borough Council.
