The Hawke’s Bay Hospital Board invites applications for the position of part-time honorary physician at the Hastings Memorial Hospital. The weathei has been very kind to those who organised the Napier competitions, ami with bright days and clear nights have come large audiences at both day and evening sessions iu the Foresters’ Hall. In several instances the judges have expressed pleasure at the artistry of entrants, and from all appearances it would seem probable that the Napier Competitions Society o ill be able in record Ho slight, degree of success for this festival.
