RED WEEK IN HAVANA
HERALDED BY BOMBS. TROOPS CALLED OUT. (Received 15, 10.55 a.m.) HAVANA (Cuba), April 14. Troops were called to stamp out terrorism on Friday after 17 bomb explosions which killed one and injured three or four. The blasts came on the heels of several anonymous letters to police headquarters giving a warning that Thursday would start a Red Week in Havana The police seized a score of youths. Patrols armed with machine-guns are on guard against further outbreaks
