MISS BATTEN’S FLIGHT. ASTONISHING PROGRESS. BAGHDAD, April 13. Miss Batten arrived on Wednesday and departed for Bushire two hours later, but there has been no news of her since. British airman are astonished at the progress she is making, one remarking: “If this is what she means by taking a quiet trip to Australia, then 1 wonder what she would do if she went all out.” ROBBIANO FORCED DOWN. A SHORTAGE OF PETROL. LONDON, April 13. Captain Robbiano made a forced landing near Hinduan, Persia, owing to shortage of pcrol. The machine was undamaged. He will resume to-day. FRENCH AVIATRIX AT HONG KONG. ROUGH-WEATHER TRIP. HONG KONG, April 13. The French airwoman Mlle. Marysc Biltz arrived at Hong Kong at 6.15 tonight after a rough-weather trip. She intends leaving for Shanghai to-mor-row morning.
