LITTLE THEATRE SOCIETY

HASTINGS ACTIVITIES. Now the cooler weather is coming and the days are growing shorter interest in plays and acting is growing steadily. For some time members of the Hastings Little Theatre Society have been steadily rehearsing for three one-act plays which are to be produced at the Oddfellows Hall on April 28. Members of the society and their friends are invited to be present. Supper will be served at the close of the evening. The society is growing in numbers, and has under consideration a three-act play, to be produced at the end of May or early in June. Lach member of the society has an opportunity of playing during the season, and it is hoped to encourage greatly local talent by bringing new members forward. The producers for April 28 are Miss Loe, Mr Ewan Campbell and Mr I,con Fail. The following are included in the cast: Mrs A. I. Rainbow, Mrs Pat Barker, Mrs Crompton (Havelock North), Misses Renee Reeve, Marjory Marshall, Mary Rainbow, Mary Wilson, Kathleen Roulston, Elgar Christie, Messrs E. V. Simpson, E. L. Sutro, lan Macphail, Maxwell, Pat Peacock and H. Poppelwell.
