METHODIST LADIES’ GUILD

MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Methodist Ladies’ Guild was held on Wednesday last, when Mrs Jos. Wilson occupied the chair in the absence of the president. After the usual routine of business, arrangements were made for the entertainment and reception of the new minister and his wife and family. The afternoon's address was on “Autumn and its Lessons,” and showed that the autumn of life was not without its blessing and charm and could become a time of beauty and grace to al). The girls’ Bible class room was might with autumn flowers. The dainty afternoon tea at which Mesdames Saywell and Robinson were hostesses was enjoyed by all.
