HOME MARKET & DISTRIBUTION, MARKED CHANGE IN EXPANSION. British Official Wireless .Service. RUGBY, April 7. The Ministry of Labour shows that the volume of unemployment has moved between relatively narrow limits in the Last year compared with the three preceding years, the high and low monthly percentages being respectively 20.8 and 22.9. There was a very considerable slowing down in the growth of unemployment. The report notes the marked change in the direction of the expansion of industries concerned mainly with the home market and distribution services. Employment exchanges were responsible for placing in employment 1,855,841 persons last year.
