THE OPOTIKI ARRESTS
ASSAULT AND ROBBERY CHARGE TWO MEN REMANDED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, March 18. Handcuffed together, two men arrested at Opotiki on Thursday appeared in the Police Court this morning charged with assault and robbery and were remanded till Friday next. The accused were Alfred Norman O’Meara, aged 30, and Wilkin Rainsdon Avery, aged 25.
