FIGURES FOR FEBRUARY EXPORTS AND IMPORTS. OVER £3 MILLION EXCESS OF EXPORTS FOB TWO MONTHS. By Telegraph—Press Association Wellington, March 17. The oversea trade figures for the Dominion for February, 1933, with returns for the corresponding month of last year in parentheses, are as follows! Exports from New Zealand £3,755,281 (£4,434,627); imports, £1,600,307 (£l,804,492). For the two months ended Fetuary, 1933: Exports, £80,047,709 (£7,816,133); imports, £3,685,828 (£3,977,244). The values recorded for exports are the declared f.o.b. values in terma of New Zealand currency, while the values recorded for imports are the current domestic values in the countries of export plus 10 per cent. If the recorded value of imports is converted to the equivalent in New Zealand currency there is an excess of exports over imports (excluding specie imported or exported) for the two months ended February, 1933, of about £3,282,000.
