HUTT VALLEY ASSOCIATION TWO-DAY MEETING Wellington, March IS. The Hutt Valley Rifle Association today commenced a two-day meeting st Trentham in fine weather. There were 57 competitors, most of whom attended the national meeting last week. Results:— Masefield aggregate.—£4, J. Feaat (Greytown) 144; £3, Simmonds (Auckland) 142; £2, Roots (I’atea) 141. Roots match, 600 yards.—£s, McKenzie (Opaki) 49; £4, Mawley (Opaki) 48; £2, R J. King (Opaki) 48. Service match, 300 yards, rapid.— £3; H. Simmonds (Auckland), 43; £2, E. M. Wrigley (Opaki) 42; £l, A. R. Wills (Invercargill) 41. Loveday match, 300 yards.—£s, Wrigley (Opaki) 49; £4, Ashman (Petone) 49; £2, Carter (Petone) 48. Ballinger match, 500 yards.—£4 10/each, Mawley (Opaki) 50, It. J. King (Opaki), 50; £2, Fellingham (Suburbs) 49. R. J.
