HAWKES BAY ASSOCIATION, PROGRESS OF PLAY IN NAPIER The Hawke’s Bay Croquet Association's annual tournament was continued in Napier on Saturday with the following results: — Open singles—Semi-final: Mrs Ball defeated Mrs Wood, 26 —19, 26—12. Ladies’ singles (first life)—Semi-final Airs Watkins defeated Mrs Hutchinson, 26—21. The final of the ladies’ singles and open singles were to be finished to-day on the United Club’s lawns.
