Five weeks of hard work, resulting in the addition of nearly 3000 names to tho Napier electoral roll, has now concluded the work of the Napier Electoral Roll Committee formed to assist in the compilation of the now roll under tho authority of an Ordor-in Council secured through the offices of Mr ,T. S. Bauon, Napier Commissioner. This committee comprised Messrs Haskell Anderson 1; •I. MeNiven. .1, Fairelough. E. J. S'::', ford and J. Murphy. Statistics show over 4040 premises were visited, 2907 forms endorsed and 835 not yet complete. The roll will be closed early next month,.so that those who have not yet handed in forms to the 4»,tpier Borough Council are requested to do so.
