MAYOR CERMAK’S SLAYER

ZANGARA SENTENCED TO DcATH. WILD OUTBURST IN COURT. (Received 11, 10.30 a.m.) Miami, March 10. Zangara was to-day sentenced to death by the electric chair for the murder of Mr Cermak by Circuit Judge Uly O. Thompson. After the sentence Zangara shouted: “You give me the electric chair. I’m Bot afraid of that chair. You’re one of the capitalists. You is a crook man, too. Put me in the electric chair. I’m no care.” Deputies rushed Zangara out as he lihrieked the last sentence. Spectators were held in the Court-room until the prisoner was removed to an elevator carrying him to the jail. Under the Florida law the execution date will he fixed hv the Governor and officials of the State penitentiary.
