STORTFORD LODGE SALE

BROKERS’ REPORTS. The associated stockbrokers report holding their weekly sale at Stortford Lodge yesterday to a fair attendance of buyers. There was a large yarding of fat cattle, store cattle and fat sxeep and a medium yarding of store sheep. Prices for store cattle and store sheep were on a par with last sale. Fat cows fell considerably towards the end of the sale. There was a keen demand by butchers for fat shoep which were above freezing rates. The following are the brokers’ reports:—
