ESKDALE LITERARY CLUB

SOCIAL AND DANCE. From Our Own Correspondent. The usual bi-weekly meeting of the Eskdale Literary Club was held in the Eskdale Hall on Tuesday evening. On this occasion the social side of the club’s activity was carried out in the form of a dance, interspersed with songs by members of the club. The music was supplied by Miss D. Kirkham and Mrs H. Nichol, while Mr J. Tait capably carried out the duties of M.C. A dainty supper was serred by the lady members of the club, and the singing of the National Anthem brought a happy evening to a fitting close.
