TE AROHA DISQUALIFICATIONS CASE OF CHIEF COOK. Auckland, March 7. Appeals in connection with the Chief Cook disqualification case at Te Arohii were upheld by the Auckland District Racing Committee. The appellant: .cere E. Montague, owner of Chief Cook; the trainer. I’. W. Scnlly; ant the jockey, G. Jenkins. On tho ground that the horse war not run on his merits in tho Waihoti Handicap on February 25. the judicia committee of the Te Aroha Jockey Cl"l disqualified each for six months.
