AGUA CALIENTE RACES
MAN OF WAR HANDICAP. PILLOW FIGHT SECOND. Agua Caliente, March 6. Pillow Fight ran second to Bahamas, u four-year-old gelding, in the Mun of War Handicap of six furlongs to-day, Bahamas won by a head from the New Zealander. This was the first start by Pillow Fight since he was brought here, and he gave an excellent account of himself. Bahamas, a sprinter by nature, closed the wide gap in the stretch, and caught Pillow Fight a few yards from the finish, the time being 1.11, which was within three-fifths of a second of the track record. the racing on Sunday as a result of the money shortage reflecting upon the banking situation in the United States. ft is hoped to resume at the latter part of the week, and if possible to reopen on Friday. It is hoped that none of the major stake races will he affect-
